Thames town Shanghai- home from home!

Thames Town is a lovely destination in Shanghai that catapults you directly into a replica of central London. It’s quite a picturesque place in an area known as Songjiang district that is intertwined with overarching bridges and pretty canals, all purposely built to replicate a well known part of central London.

There are cobbled streets and terraced-style houses in Thames Town that you easily see in the UK. There are easily identifiable landmarks which was fun to randomly encounter. The only thing missing (bar the people of course!) was some fish and chips or a Sunday roast.

It wasn’t so busy when we went there but it was a pleasant day out enjoying the picturesque environment which made us nostalgic of being at home.
