Minhang museum is is a free interactive space to educate and learn in a stimulating way

The children headed out with some friends to fill some of their time learning and building their knowledge on numerous interesting facts- from the history of traditional instruments to the origins of Shanghai and how it used to look before it’s modern day transformation.

It was interesting to see old Shanghai and how much it has changed. It was also engaging to discover more about the swords and tools used to cultivate the land.

There were lots of opportunities to listen, see and feel objects on display and experience the history in a child-friendly way.

We probably spent about 2 hours or more, over three floors meandering in and around the eye-catching displays.

The children on a journey of discovery

Minhang Museum is officially on the ‘re-visit list!’ for all that it has to offer in such a fresh and airy space. On a spring or summers day it would be a nice area to cool off inside, after enjoying the beautiful park that is adjacent to it or vice-versa (which we have had some fun days out). Certainly it was a more entertaining day out with friends.
